Snippet licenses

Each snippet page shows its license. Snippets written by the GreenSnippets team are released under the MIT License: you may use, copy, modify and distribute them, including commercially, without attribution, provided the MIT notice stays with substantial copies of the code.

Community-submitted snippets show the license chosen by the author. If a license requires attribution, the snippet page shows it.

Content that is not code

Explanations, tutorials and site design are copyright GreenSnippets unless stated otherwise. You may quote short excerpts with a link back.

Reporting a problem

If you believe a snippet copies code you own or violates its license, use the contact page and include the snippet URL and details of the original work. We will review and remove content where appropriate.
